The problems we see most are a tooth that has broken or been knocked out, a filling or crown that has come loose, swelling around a tooth, and pain that has gone from occasional to constant. Swelling in particular should not wait — an infection that spreads is a far bigger problem than the tooth that started it.
A knocked-out adult tooth can sometimes be saved if you act fast. Handle it by the crown rather than the root, keep it in milk or in your cheek, and get to us straight away. Time matters more than anything else you do.
Pain you cannot manage, swelling, bleeding that will not stop, a broken or knocked-out tooth, or a lost filling or crown that has left a sharp edge.
